Day Sign: Kame (Cimi) Death Transformer Skull
As explained and understood by Kenneth Johnson.
“This is an unusual day, so this post will be a bit longer than usual.
This is the day of Death, but most of my Mayan friends regard it as an auspicious day. Those born on Kame are both mystical and practical at the same time.
The notion of a dark, tormented place called Hell is a Christian concept that has nothing to do with the Maya. The famous king Pakal of Palenque (formerly mistaken for an ancient astronaut) is depicted traveling the Tree of Life to the world of the gods after his death, and the symbolism upon his sarcophagus is overwhelmingly positive.
If the ancestors live beneath us, then every flower that pushes its way up through the earth from below is a gift that they give to us.
And it is 7 Death. In Mayan numerology, 7 is the number of “endings” – some would go so far as to say “death,” thus doubling the symbolism of this day.
Why? The reason for this may not be readily apparent, but if you examine any Calendar Board diagram, you will see that any given day sign will always recur in the following numerical sequence:
1, 8, 2, 9, 3, 10, 4, 11, 5, 12, 6, 13, 7
Any day-sign sequence beginning with 1 will end in a 7. This is why 7 is so often considered a symbol of endings. In the Popol Vuh, the first pair of Hero Twins are named 1 Junajpu and 7 Junajpu, while the most important Underworld Lords are named 1 Death and 7 Death. When 1 and 7 are paired together in such a fashion, it is as if we were saying: “The beginning and end of the Hero Twins archetype,” or “The alpha and omega of the Death archetype.” The totality of the archetype, with all its attendant symbolism, is implied when the Popol Vuh expresses itself in terms of “1 and 7.”
As the middle number between 1 and 13, 7 is also the top of the pyramid. Today, you can see in all directions. You can see all the way to the end of the road, to the conclusion. Today is a day for bringing things to a conclusion. And the still, small voices that you hear, guiding your way, are the voices of the ancestors.” – Kenneth Johnson
Vibrational Resonance: 7
As explained and understood by Kenneth Johnson.
“In Mayan numerology, 7 is a number of endings.
7 can be a confusing day. Sometimes it’s hard to make decisions. So… don’t! Sometimes the best action is no action at all.” – Kenneth Johnson
As understood by Ian Lungold:
Seven | Reflective
“Seven Stands as a mirror to divide the light and dark and to reflect all that is and is not. Seven is associated with the source of creation and the flow of divine will with a keen sense of ethics. Seven Establishes purpose to current and future goals” – Ian Lungold
A Scientific reinterpretation From Carl and Sean:

Todays Daily Tzolkin Energy, A Classic Interpretation, by this we mean Pre 2012 and even pre 2000 and before, these will often be Ian Lungold, Rest his remarkable soul. Kenneth Johnson is also a fountain of knowledge on the subject (author of Jaguar wisdom) and continues his day keeper responsibilities and publishes this information daily on his facebook page, Thank you so much Kenneth for Keeping this information so relevant and so personal for so many maya students and scholars, helping us all to stay in sync with the energies of the day.
Because of the tireless work of Kenneth I also offer A Modern Interpretation, These were originally posted by Kenneth in the 2022/2023 Gregorian calendar year.
Lastly we offer A Scientific Interpretation. Carl Calleman and Sean Caufield have done something incredible and useful with this knowledge past to us by the ancients, they have compared it to our history good and bad and then noticed some interesting information in the pattern that suggests the calendars vibration frequency continues to increase.
We offer this as a scientific reinterpretation of the maya calendar information. please use this information to tune into the daily energies that the maya so carefully mapped out for us. Tunning into this energy daily for me at least helps me to stay grounded and focused in a increasingly hectic world
